From Interstate 95 or 295, take Indian Head Highway (Route 210) South and drive about 9 miles toward Accokeek. Turn right on Farmington Road. Turn right on Bryan Point Road. You may see a sign pointing to the National Colonial Farm Museum--that's a hint you're headed in the right direction.
If you pass Route 228 on Indian Head Highway, you've gone a little too far South. By the time you reach the Naval Surface Warfare Center, you're almost in the Potomac River! Turn around and go back.
2301 Bryan Point Road is a driveway on the right. Hard Bargan Farm has more than one address on Bryan Point Road, but you're looking for Hard Bargain's Wareham Lodge at 2301. The sign is large enough to see without difficulty.
Alternate Route (saves about five minutes)
On Indian Head Highway, drive past Farmington Road and turn right on Livingston Road.
Then turn right on Biddle Road and left on Bryan Point Road. Continue past the
intersection with Farmington Road. Look for Hard Bargain Farm on the right.
Bear in mind that Livingston Road crosses Indian Head Highway a couple of times before you pass Farmington Road. You want the intersection just a little South of Farmington Road, but not as far South as Route 228 and the Potomac River.
