Stuff to bring with you to gathering
Here's a checklist of things you'll probably want to bring with you to the
gathering.
Stuff for all types of campers:
- Hat to keep the sun off your head
- Sunscreen lotion
- Soap and/or shampoo
- Flashlight with batteries
- Ritual garb and jewelry
- Ritual tools
- Musical instrument
- Toothbrush, toothpaste and other dental stuff
- Comb or brush
- Towels
- Teddybear
- Bathrobe (optional)
- Mosquito repellant
- Swim suit (optional)
For cabin campers:
- Sheets, pillow, pillowcase, blanket
For tent campers:
- Tent, tent poles, stakes, rope
- Hammer, pliars, knife, duct tape
- Air mattress & inflating device
- Sleeping bag, sheets, pillows, pillowcases, blankets
- Rug or floor cloth for inside tent
- Seam sealer
- Large plastic tarp (in case it rains extra hard)
If you bring your own food:
- Food & beverages for each meal
- Cooler
- Bottle opener, can opener
- Camp stove or grill
- Fuel or charcoal, lighter or matches, lighter fluid
- Pots, pans, cooking utensils, hot pad
- Plates, bowls, cups, eating utensils, napkins
- Marshmallows, chocolate, graham crackers
- Dishwashing tub, dishwashing soap, dishcloth or brush
- Dining fly, supporting poles, stakes, rope
- Camp table and chairs
- Trash bags
- Hammer, pliars, knife, duct tape
If you smoke:
- Cigarettes, pipe, tobaco
- Small, metal can or box with lid for convenient disposal of butts
- Lighter or matches
Things to leave home:
- Pets (Service animals are NOT considered pets.)
- Illegal substances
- Fireworks
